Augustine Sorie-Sengbe Marrah, managing partner of Marrah & Associates, is a leading civil and commercial litigator, top constitutional expert, and pro-democracy activist. He graduated top of his class from the Sierra Leone Law School in 2009 and has been in legal practice for over fifteen years. His legal career has been marked by several high-profile cases challenging government actions and judicial overreach. In particular, he secured a landmark victory in Sierra Leone’s Supreme Court in 2018, challenging the government’s unjust vehicular restrictions during the general elections, which led to significant electoral reforms.

Mohamed Magazuba is an associate at Marrah and Associates. He holds a master’s in legal studies, focusing on International Rule of Law and Security, from Arizona State University, and a Master’s in Sustainable Development from the University of Makeni. His expertise covers international environmental law, human rights, immigration law, energy policy, and workers’ compensation law. In 2024, he interned with Civitas Maxima in Washington, DC, drafting policy arguments for war crimes statutes. Before his legal career, Mohamed worked nearly a decade with NGOs in Sierra Leone, fostering a deep understanding of development and humanity.
